Solid hands-on bookkeeping or finance administration experience (minimum 2 years), ideally within a professional services or financial services environment
Familiarity with standard accounting software and confident working with Excel
Organised, detail-oriented working style with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive and confidential information
A hands-on, flexible approach to work, being comfortable taking on a varied range of tasks as priorities shift in a small, entrepreneurial environment
Fluency in German and English, written and spoken
German work permit or EU citizenship
Candidates may also have:
Experience working across multiple legal entities or jurisdictions
Exposure to payroll processes in Germany or Switzerland
Experience with DATEV, Bexio, or similar accounting platforms

This is a permanent, 40% role in Germany working either remotely or based in our office in Munich . You will be reporting directly to the group's COO.
Tasks
Day-to-day bookkeeping for the German and Swiss entities, working closely with external accountants in both jurisdictions
Processing accounts payable and receivable, including invoice management and payment runs
Supporting payroll coordination with external payroll providers
Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and internal financial reporting
Supporting the group's budgeting and liquidity monitoring processesGeneral administrative support across the group, including document management, correspondence, and coordination tasks as required
