The Maintenance Operations Team Lead will lead a diverse group of electrical and mechanical maintenance technicians, ensuring efficient operations and accountability in meeting plant objectives. This role focuses on maintaining electrical and mechanical systems in optimal condition while providing engineering support and guidance. By delegating tasks effectively and fostering a collaborative environment, the Maintenance Operations Team Lead will enhance team performance and minimize downtime, ultimately driving continuous improvement in maintenance processes. Taking ownership of responsibilities is essential for achieving operational excellence in this pivotal position.
RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
Supervises the planned corrective work of the equipment (electrical and mechanical).
Prioritize necessities and execute corrective work plans prepared by the Planner.
Ensure that installations are in line with work orders and safety standards
Oversees service requests completion for mechanical and electrical problems.
Maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment.
Meets operational goals by contributing information and recommendations for strategic planning and review, preparing and enacting action plans, maintaining production, productivity, quality, and standards, completing audits, identifying trends, recognizing problems and determining appropriate system improvements and solutions.
Provide support in the planning and coordination of work orders in the area.
Supports financial objectives by forecasting requirements and taking effective corrective actions.
Examine needs on new equipment, calculate costs and help prepare budgets with the Maintenance Manager.
Provide support in the evaluation and optimization of the Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Program.
Responsible for the implementation of improvement projects.
Ensures compliance with all applicable codes and regulations and advises senior management on requirements.
Leads the daily meetings of his team. Participate in meetings with maintenance staff to carry out relevant information that your team presents
Supervises the performance of the Facilitators (Mechanical and Electrical), identifies training needs, and coordinates them.
Support in design maintenance strategy, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, electrical grid systems.
Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings.
Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes requirements by directing or coordinating installation, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
Supervising or training team members.
Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
Working with a variety of technicians.
