Position Summary:
The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department/Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary or specialty medical care within Pediatric ENT Outpatient clinical setting . This position is located in Milwaukee, W I at the Children's Wisconsin hospital campus. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching.
Position Highlights:
In this role you will, have an independent ambulatory practice working in conjunction with the Department's Pediatric Otolaryngology Division specialist to staff his/her own clinics seeing new and established patients. The APP will work in support of the specialists with complicated patients and ensure appropriate continuity of care for all program patients.
The APP will provide care for both complex and typical patient populations, which offers a challenging and rewarding variety of patient interactions.
This position would be based in Milwaukee with possible coverage at any of our 6 regional ambulatory sites.
Specialty areas include: Aerodigestive & Foregut, Cleft Lip / Cleft palate, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Thyroid, Trach/ Vent, Vascular Anomalies, Sleep and Voice.
This role will report to the Otolaryngology Division Chief and Division Administrator.
Schedule:
Typical schedule includes Monday-Friday. No weekends/holidays/call
