Responsibilities

  • Contact building owners or their representatives to request documents or secure written consent for mortgage

  • Assist with preparing internal memos, summaries, and outreach materials
  • Participate in team meetings and strategy sessions related to portfolio health and loan workout planning
  • Perform additional administrative and analytical tasks as needed

Your Team: The Office of Asset and Property Management (APM) leads the agency's effort to protect the City's investment in affordable housing and ensure that properties remain stable and affordable over the long-term. APM actively monitors the performance and regulatory compliance of projects sponsored, supervised, and owned by the city, and connects people to affordable housing opportunities. APM includes the Divisions of Asset Management, Property Management & Client Services, Housing Supervision, Housing Opportunities & Program Services, and Co-op Readiness & Technical Services. The Asset Resolution and Portfolio Analysis (ARPA) team within APM, plays a critical role in preserving the long- term affordability and financial health of HPD's loan portfolio. This unit monitors mortgage performance, develops financial workout strategies, and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to protect the City's housing investments.
