Job Description Summary A Banquet Bartender is responsible for serving making and serving beverages to guests at venues or catering events. Their duties include greeting guests and taking their orders, bringing them the correct drinks and refilling their beverages as needed. The Bartender must maintain supplies and follow established cleanliness and sanitation guidelines. Job Description Greet, welcome, and interact with guests in a warm and friendly manner. Take orders, prepare drinks according to recipes and serve all beverage requests. Prepare the bar for service by ensuring bar supplies, garnishes, utensils are properly set up in accordance with quality standards. Inventory unused liquor and beverages. Ensure that all liquor is properly secured before, during, and at close of shift. Complete all closing duties and reports as assigned. Secure all liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets and storage areas. Adhere to established safety and sanitation guidelines. Adhere to uniform and grooming standards. Perform other duties or projects as requested by management. Work Environment / Physical Demands Must be able work in a fast-paced environment. Majority of work takes place indoors. Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures - i.e. kitchens, freezers. Expected Hours of Work Must be flexible to work variable days of the week to include weekends and holidays. Must be flexible to work variable shifts (days, nights, overnights). QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS : Experience as a Bartender required. High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Able to work quickly without compromising quality. Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of performance. Attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees. Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift. Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team. Food handlers and TIPS certificates required. Previous front facing guest service experience required. Must read, write and speak the English language fluently. Ensure overall guest satisfaction. Additional Job Information/Anticipated Pay Range
