(BEFM) is a private limited liability company (société à responsibilité limitée) notably subject to the Law of 10 August 1915 on commercial companies, as amended from time to time and to the AIFM Law. BEFM is authorized by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) as (i) a management company under Article 101(2) (Chapter 15) of the Law of 17 December 2010 on undertakings for collective investment, as amended (the UCI Law) and (ii) an alternative investment fund manager in accordance with the Law of 12 July 2013 on alternative investment fund managers, as amended (the AIFM Law). Job Responsibilities The Firm is looking to recruit an Analyst to join the Risk Management team responsible for a number of our European funds. The Analyst will be an integral member of the team in Luxembourg and will report to the head of Risk Management and will work closely with the Assistant Vice President responsible for the risk management activities regarding private equity, tactical opportunities and infrastructure strategies. The Analyst will be involved in all elements of the Risk Management team, key responsibilities will include: Risk management and investment fund compliance : Drafting risk profiles Identifying, assessing and monitoring risks red with BEFM-managed funds Participating in investigating risk mitigation strategies and corrective actions Monitoring of compliance with investment restrictions and guidelines Performing deal risk reviews before transaction and assessing alignment with investment strategy and risk profile of the fund Preparing and providing risk data for regulatory reporting purposes (e.g., AIFMD Annex IV risk inputs) Governance and reporting to senior management: Participating in the Update and review of policies, procedures, and risk profiles in accordance with latest regulatory requirements and industry best practices Participating in the Preparation of materials and reports for relevant senior stakeholders on a recurring basis Innovation and transformation: Overseeing risk processes that may be partially supported by internal and/or external teams Suggesting improvements in existing risk management processes Qualifications & Skills Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team, are highly motivated, with a sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Financial engineering, or a related discipline 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, such as UCITS Management Company, AIFM, or Risk Advisory role. A prior experience in a Big 4 is an asset. Strong understanding of risk management techniques and methods, including Value-at-Risk, stress testing, liquidity modeling, and counterparty risk. Familiarity with regulatory requirements for AIFs an advantage. Excellent analytical and financial skills with strong attention to detail Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required. Strong appetite for adopting new technologies and a commitment to driving automation initiatives to streamline processes and improve productivity.
