The team you will be part of The Social Commerce Team is a fast-growing team leading the way in livestream selling, short video content, and affiliate marketing across Southeast Asia. The part you will play We are seeking a dynamic Head of Video & Production to take full ownership of our video content strategy and production function. Reporting to the Head of Social Commerce, you will lead both the strategic and operational aspects of video content; from ideation and scripting to end-to-end production, team leadership, and performance optimization. This role is pivotal in driving business growth, elevating creative standards, and building best-in-class livestream and video capabilities that scale across platforms such as TikTok, Shopee, and Lazada. As a Head of Video & Production, you will take charge of This role will be assisting the Head of Social Commerce to deliver the business targets and priorities regarding the following responsibilities: Content Strategy, Ideation & Storytelling Shape the overarching content strategy for video, aligning themes, formats, and publishing cadence with business and campaign objectives. Lead content calendar planning across channels, ensuring a consistent and varied pipeline of video content. Identify audience trends, emerging formats, and storytelling techniques to keep content fresh, relevant, and impactful. Oversee scripting and storyboarding to ensure strong narrative structure, clarity of messaging, and brand consistency. Performance Analytics & Insights Define and track KPIs for video content performance (views, engagement rate, watch time, conversion, GMV contribution, etc.). Conduct regular performance reviews to derive actionable insights and translate them into content improvement initiatives. Champion a test-and-learn culture by running content experiments on formats, hooks, CTAs, and production styles. Report insights to the Head of Social Commerce and key stakeholders, with clear recommendations for future content strategy. Production Planning & Execution Own end-to-end production planning for all video projects, from brief to final delivery. Build and maintain production schedules, resource plans, and shoot calendars that balance quality, speed, and budget. Source and manage talent, capabilities, and production requirements, including equipment procurement, studio needs, and facility management. Establish production playbooks and SOPs to drive consistency and operational excellence across projects. Production Leadership & Studio Management Guide and upskill the production team on equipment operation, filming best practices, and technical setup standards. Oversee studio operations, ensuring readiness of equipment, lighting, camera systems, and production workflows. Maintain production quality standards across all shoots, ensuring outputs meet brand and business expectations. Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement within the production team. AI-Generated Content Strategy & Implementation Lead the evaluation, testing, and adoption of AI-powered tools for content creation, video production, and creative workflows. Establish AI content standards, governance, and quality benchmarks to ensure outputs remain on-brand and commercially effective. Identify opportunities to improve content scalability, production efficiency, and cost effectiveness through AI solutions.
