POSITION SUMMARY:
The position is to support Executive Director's leadership by proactively driving strategic proposals and leading their operational execution. The position is responsible for the development, proposal, and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that elevate the retail portfolio, drive footfall, and enhance tenant performance with the City of Dreams and Studio City. The role requires a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities, create actionable plans and lead cross-functional teams to bring initiatives to life, directly contributing to the growth and synergy of the retail ecosystem.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning & Development:
Develop and propose overarching retail marketing strategies that aligns with property-wide business objectives.
Analyze market trends, consumer data, and sales performance to identify new growth opportunities for tenants and cross-property promotion.
Formulate data-driven business proposals and strategic plans designed to increase retail traffic, tenant sales, and overall property visitation.
Execution & Project Leadership:
Drive the end-to-end execution of approved marketing initiatives, from conception through to launch and post-campaign analysis.
Lead and coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure the successful implementation of plans.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor the effectiveness of campaigns on store performance, footfall, and return on investment.
Cross-Property Synergy & CRM Integration:
Serve as a key strategic partner to the Melco Beyond (CRM) team to develop and implement initiatives that build and retain a high-value customer base for integrated offerings across retail, F&B, and entertainment.
Collaborate closely with the Casino Marketing team to conceptualize and create premium retail experiences - such as exclusive events, VIP workshops, and bespoke activation - that enhance the guest journey and drive incremental business.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence:
Proactively engage, negotiate, and collaborate with departments including PR, Branding, Digital Marketing, and Operations to secure resources, align priorities, and champion retail objectives.
Advocate effectively for retail marketing needs within the broader organizational context.
Tenant Relations & Business Support:
Partner with retail tenants to understand their commercial objectives and co-develop marketing programs that support their growth while leveraging their appeal for the benefit of the property.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS :
Retail Sales Growth: YoY increase in total retail sales across the portfolio
Foot Traffic & Conversion: Increase in overall shopper traffic to retail areas and improvement in conversion rates from visitors to customers and/or returning customers
Campaign ROI & Effectiveness: Return on investment for major marketing campaigns and initiatives
Project Executive & Timeliness: On-time and on-budget delivery of strategic marketing projects and activations
