Responsibilities
Build and ship full-stack features end-to-end, from Next.js UI through FastAPI microservices to Cloud Spanner / BigQuery data stores.
Develop and maintain the Next.js 13 App Router front-end (TypeScript, Tailwind CSS) following the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) pattern, with clear separation between server and client components.
Develop and operate Python 3.11 / FastAPI microservices using the service-repository pattern, Pydantic v2 schemas, SQLAlchemy 2.0+, and dependency injection.
Partner with product managers, business analysts, architects, and QA to ensure technical solutions are fit for use and aligned with architecture blueprints.
Build and operate GCP services (Cloud Run, Cloud Workflows, Cloud Build, Pub/Sub, Secret Manager, Cloud Logging) and contribute to the evolution of the platform toward reusable, self-serve patterns.
Integrate with BigQuery and Cloud Spanner for transactional and analytical workloads, applying parameterized queries, partitioning, and cost-aware design.
Maintain and improve integrations with social platforms, third-party influencer marketplaces, and internal P&G systems.
Develop and extend Terraform modules for GCP project and landing-zone resources, contributing to self-serve provisioning and policy guardrails.
Embed quality and security into CI/CD: unit and integration tests (pytest, jest), E2E tests (Playwright), SonarQube, Snyk, and gitleaks.
Identify, design, and implement performance, reliability, and cost-reduction opportunities.
Contribute to and uphold coding standards and best practices to ensure services and components are efficient, secure, and reusable.
Certifications
Associate Cloud Engineer - Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Professional Cloud Developer - GCP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204), HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience in full-stack software engineering, web application development, or related field.
Proficiency with modern web architectures and microservice design patterns.
Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React 18, and Next.js 13+ App Router (server/client components, route handlers, BFF pattern).
Hands-on experience with Python 3.11+ and FastAPI, including Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, and async patterns.
Working knowledge of GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud Workflows, BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, IAM, Secret Manager) and Terraform.
Working knowledge of Docker and containerized local development.
Strong TypeScript, Python, and SQL skills.
Experience writing automated tests (pytest, jest, Playwright) and integrating quality and security tooling (SonarQube, Snyk, gitleaks) into CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with REST API design, OpenAPI/Swagger, and conventional commits.
Awareness of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices (no hardcoded secrets, input validation, parameterized queries, HTTPS-only).
