Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the L4 software integration landscape across all relevant ECUs and HPC platforms

  • Professional Experience
  • Extensive professional experience in the automotive or autonomous driving industry

  • Experience working in OEM or Tier-1 supplier projects
  • Strong background in automotive series development processes and safety-critical systems
  • Strategy & Continuous Improvement
  • Shape the technical project management framework for next-generation vehicles.
  • Introduce scalable processes, methods, and tools.
  • Drive lessons learned and organizational maturity.
  • Required Technical Skills
  • Configuration Management in Automotive / Autonomous Driving Proven experience in software, system, and variant configuration management within complex E/E architectures
  • Robotaxi / Autonomous Driving (L4) Expertise Strong understanding of sensor systems (LiDAR, radar, camera), perception, localization, and planning systems
  • Tools & Processes Hands-on experience with tools such as Polarion, DOORS, Jira, Git/GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Vector tools, or comparable environments
  • Release & Change Management Experience with release processes, baseline management, and change control procedures
  • E/E Architecture & Interface Understanding Knowledge of vehicle networks, middleware, HPC architectures, and software/sensor dependencies

The Configuration and Integration Manager is responsible for defining, managing, and consolidating the software integration landscape as well as system and software configurations within the overall L4 project. The role ensures that all involved ECUs, high-performance computing platforms, software releases, sensors, AI/perception components, variants, interfaces, and integration states remain consistent, traceable, and release-ready throughout the development lifecycle.
