Full Stack Engineer (Python/React) - Ankara, TR

About the role

We're looking for a Backend Engineer to design and build high-performance backend systems that support AI-driven workflows and large-scale data processing. You'll work on distributed services, APIs, and core infrastructure powering mission-critical products. This role requires strong backend fundamentals, production-grade Python experience, and the ability to own features end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in Python
• Architect APIs and microservices with clean, maintainable abstractions
• Work with large datasets and asynchronous processing pipelines
• Optimize performance, reliability, and observability
• Contribute to system design discussions
• Own features end-to-end and collaborate across teams
• Write production-quality, testable, secure code
• Participate in code reviews and uphold a high engineering bar

Requirements

• Core Requirements
• 3-7 years of backend engineering experience
• Strong production experience in Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar)
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures
• Solid understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and query optimization
• Experience with async processing, queues (SQS, Kafka), or event-driven systems
• Good understanding of system design, scalability, and performance
• Bonus points:
• Experience working with coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar) is a strong plus
• Experience deploying and operating services on AWS (or another major cloud provider) is a strong plus
• Experience building or integrating AI agent systems (LLM workflows, orchestration frameworks, or evaluation pipelines) is a plus
