Responsibilities

• We're looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our Delivery & Logistics Team at Picnic.
• You'll be responsible for:
• Leveraging AI to supercharge how we design, sell, and support: Explore, design, and implement AI-powered solutions for our customers as well as internal tools for our design team. Our goal is to smartly leverage AI to scale our business and make smarter, faster decisions.
• Collaborating deeply with product managers, engineers, and operations : Iteratively plan, build, test, and launch products that solve real user problems and push the business forward.
• Participating in design critiques and cross-functional reviews : Refine ideas, gather rapid feedback, and iterate on high-impact solutions.
• Understanding and championing our users : Conduct discovery research to surface user insights that influences your team's strategy and prioritizing usability by testing your designs with real users.
• Enhancing our design system : Contribute and improve core patterns that support consistency across our products.

Requirements

• A passion for food and helping restaurateurs succeed!
• 5+ years of experience in product or UX design.
• Strong full-stack design skills; from interaction design to visual design to system thinking, and everything in between.
• A proven track record of building products from the ground up and working effectively with cross-functional partners.
• Familiarity with designing complex data-driven applications like tables, maps, and analytics.
• Familiarity with designing mobile apps.
• An impact-driven mindset that prioritizes delivering value to customers as fast as possible.
• An ability to be a strategic partner by helping to understand the competitive environment and shape a vision for how our products will fit in the market.
• A team player who is a proactive communicator, has no ego, and loves to collaborate with others.
• Sound judgement that combines data with instinct to build the right thing and meet business objectives.
