In this role, you will work in pretrial investigations, case management, and counseling and social service referrals for the Sarasota County Government Pretrial Services Program. Attend court hearings to provide updates on client compliance and testify when necessary; support team training and onboarding efforts. About the Schedule Work Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week. May be required to work weekends, holidays, and/or shift work for 24/7 operation. About You To be considered for this role, you must have the following: Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, counseling, social work, psychology, sociology, behavioral science, or a related field from an accredited college or university. OR: 4+ years of progressively responsible related work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required college degree. Certification by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) as a Florida Crime Information Center/National Crime Information Center (FCIC/NCIC) operator or be willing to obtain within six (6) months of appointment. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment for a period of five years.
