Requirements
6-8+ years designing high-quality product experiences, with meaningful time spent on native mobile (iOS and/or Android)
Experience designing complex systems, not just individual screens
A sharp, distinct visual sensibility - you have a point of view, and it shows in your work
Comfort operating in ambiguity and low-oversight environments; you move things forward without being pushed
Strong communicator who can build trust with cross-functional partners and advocate for design direction
Someone who geeks out on what's uniquely possible in a native environment - you would rather start over than build on a React Native foundation
Our target new hire base salary ranges for this role are the following:
US employees (any location): $189,000-236,200 USD
Canadian employees (any location): $178,600-223,200 CAD

Mercury's mobile apps are fully native - iOS and Android - built by a senior, long-tenured engineering team that's capable of executing almost anything you can design. The opportunity here isn't to port the web experience to mobile. It's to define what Mercury on mobile should actually be .
