Responsibilities

• Your role is essential to promoting a professional atmosphere through courteous communication, cooperation and respect for patients, visitors and members of the healthcare team. In addition, you will be responsible for upholding stellar customer service practices for patients and families.

• Job Qualifications
• Education - Required
• Bachelor's degree
• Master's degree Physician Assistant Studies
• Graduate of CAAHEP accredited Physician Assistant Training Program
• Certifications/Licensure - Required
• Active license in New York/New Jersey/Connecticut (Based on Position's Location/Physician's sessional time)
• Current NCCPA certification, including 100 hours of continuing medical education logged every 2 years and recertification taken and successfully passed every 6-10 years
• Current Infection Control Certificate
• Completion of child abuse recognition course
• ACLS and BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• DEA license
• Experience - Required
• 1-2 years relevant experience in outpatient or ambulatory setting
• Experience - Preferred
• Experience in musculoskeletal/orthopedic practice preferred.
• Skills - Required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Critical thinking, in-depth experience, professional knowledge in area of specialty; updated on the latest new, trends, and treatments.
• Time management/organization: handles and effectively manages a daily caseload; experience with varied work schedule (flexibility); adaptable

Emp Status Regular Full time Work Shift Compensation Range The base pay scale for this position is $187,898.88 - $204,886.38. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
