SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-12 LEVEL: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal Government. Specialized experience is experience in or related to investigation of criminal violations that provided the specific competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. This law enforcement experience must have been acquired in investigative work related to the Accounting or Auditing of business or commercial practices of subjects investigated. Qualifying experience is law enforcement experience which demonstrates Experience with accounting and legal principles to assess investigative options and use innovative approaches or methods of proof to overcome complex accounting issues related to criminal activities that can involve piecing together financial information that may be located in several venues both domestic and international. Examples of qualifying law enforcement experience include conducting criminal investigations involving federal tax and/or money laundering violations including one or more of the following: Indirect methods of proof; utilization of multiple nominees, bank accounts, and/or entities; utilization of alter ego and/or sham corporations; multiple judicial districts and/or targets; and/or other financial investigations (money laundering). Specialized experience must have included Federal Law Enforcement experience in leading and effecting Federal enforcement actions including search, seizure, and arrest warrants. AND You must also meet the following requirement(s): PERFORMANCE RATING: Current federal employees must have at least a fully successful or equivalent performance rating to receive consideration. TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT (TACA): By the closing date (or if this is an open continuous announcement, by the cut-off date) specified in this job announcement, current civilian employees must have completed at least 90 days of federal civilian service since their latest non-temporary appointment from a competitive referral certificate, known as time after competitive appointment. For this requirement, a competitive appointment is one where you applied to and were appointed from an announcement open to "All US Citizens" TIME IN GRADE (TIG): Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements.
