Job Description Role overview This role provides an opportunity to play a critical role in shaping the talent landscape across Old Mutual's Enabling Functions. The Talent Acquisition Specialist partners closely with Human Capital colleagues and business leaders to identify, attract, and secure high-calibre talent in scarce and specialist skill areas. Beyond managing end-to-end recruitment delivery, the role contributes to workforce planning, market intelligence, and proactive talent pipelining to ensure the business has access to the capabilities required to deliver on its strategic priorities. The successful candidate will join a high-performing Talent Acquisition team that supports some of Old Mutual's most specialised capability areas, partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing hiring strategies across the organisation. Key Result Areas Strategic Talent Partnership Partner with HC Business Partners and senior business leaders to understand capability needs and translate these into targeted talent strategies. Provide market insights, talent intelligence and benchmarking to support workforce planning and hiring decisions. Contribute to proactive talent pipelining for critical and scarce skill roles. End-to-End Talent Acquisition Deliver full lifecycle recruitment including role scoping, sourcing strategy, candidate assessment, offer management and onboarding alignment. Ensure a high-quality and consistent candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process. Manage recruitment processes in line with Old Mutual policies, governance and regulatory requirements. Talent Market Expertise Develop strong networks across key talent markets and professional communities relevant to the business. Leverage sourcing strategies to identify both active and passive talent pools for specialist roles. Stakeholder Engagement Build trusted relationships with hiring managers, HC colleagues and internal stakeholders. Provide expert guidance on recruitment strategies, candidate evaluation and hiring decisions. Manage stakeholder expectations while ensuring efficient and effective recruitment outcomes. Continuous Improvement Use recruitment metrics and insights to improve hiring outcomes and recruitment efficiency. Contribute to the ongoing evolution of talent acquisition practices within Old Mutual. Champion a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
