Comprehensive Benefits Package that provides extended health care, dental care, vision care, life insurance and critical illness.Continuous learning opportunities with an annual educational allowance.Generous referral program ranging from $500-$2,500 depending on business need.Regular consistent team building activities and events.Discounts to local amenities and vendors.Discounted hotel stays in multiple locations through our Hospitality offerings.What Will You Do?Project Management, Planning & Trades CoordinationReview construction drawings and specifications.Attend all relevant site coordination meetings with Management and relay accurate information back to the Director of Operations.Plan and coordinate daily field operations with foremen, superintendents and sub-contractors.Allocate labor, tools, and equipment as per project needs.Coordinate with general contractors, other trades, and suppliers.Employee Management:Oversee crews performing steel stud framing, drywall installation, taping, and finishing.Develop and implement training programs to ensure that employees are trained in the latest industry practices and techniques, as well as safety regulations and compliance requirements.Ensure proper installation techniques and adherence to company and industry standards.Provide leadership, mentoring, and training for foremen and crew members.Communicate management policies with sub-contractors to ensure cost effectiveness and labor invoicing aligns.Scheduling & Resource ManagementDevelop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Director of Operations.Monitor daily productivity and progress toward milestones.Ensure materials are ordered, delivered, stored safely and securely at the job site as needed to avoid delays.Identify opportunities for cost savings and develop strategies to achieve cost efficiencies.Quality ControlConduct field inspections to verify work quality and compliance with specs.Identify and correct deficiencies or rework issues proactively.Work with QA/QC personnel and clients to resolve punch list items.Safety and Compliance:Enforce safety policies and ensure crews comply with WCB policies and company safety protocols.Actively participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings, providing valuable input to safety managers regarding potential hazards, concerns, and improvement opportunities.Administrative DutiesMaintain accurate daily reports on labor, materials, and job progress.Assist with change order documentation and tracking.Communicate regularly with the Director of Site Operation on job status, risks, and opportunities.Track and report on crew hours and coordinate with payroll as neededWhat You Bring.Minimum 5-7 years of experience in construction field operations, preferably in steel stud framing, drywall, or general contracting.Demonstrated leadership experience managing crews, subcontractors, and site coordination.Red Seal or equivalent trade certification is an asset.Proficient in reading blueprints, project schedules, and change order documentation.Occupational First Aid Level 1 (or higher) and other relevant safety certifications are considered assets.Flexibility to travel to various job sites across the Lower Mainland.Salary Range:$100,000 - $120,000Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance
