Job DescriptionThis individual will report to the Manager of Accounting in the Finance Group. He/she may collaborate with the additional teams within the Family Office. The Senior Accountant will be based in Atlanta. In-office days will be required.Position Responsibilities:The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day‑to‑day and recurring accounting functions, including:Recording and reviewing high volumes of financial data, including credit card transactions, banking activity, and other general ledger entries.Preparing and posting daily, monthly, and recurring journal entries, including accruals.Performing bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.Maintaining and monitoring fixed asset tracking.Prepare the monthly close process.Partnering with internal teams to coordinate accounting matters and improve processes.Learning and adhering to all relevant company accounting policies.Leading special projects, process improvement initiatives, and ad hoc tasks as assigned.Paid time offRemote work optionsFlexible scheduleParental leave
