Maintains accreditation from and compliance with ACGME Common and specialty-specific Program Requirements , prepares for site visits, and organizing internal reviews.
Manages recruitment cycles through ERAS, SF Match, and the NRMP Match.
Manages strategic efforts for education program expansion outside HSS main campus.
Keeps leadership alert to critical needs and issues at individual programs that may require special resources or attention.
Establishes a process to leverage program management insights across all programs to identify best practices and share opportunities to improve program performance through formal and informal forums.
Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting business and educational requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions as needed.
Works with the DIO and hospital leadership teams to identify opportunities to maximize return on investment for individual programs and the hospital.
Oversee CMS reimbursement documentation, cost containment, and ROI maximization.
Operational Oversight: Supervises GME office staff and program coordinators. Direct day-to-day administrative operations, develop long-term GME goals, and lead new program development.
Works with leadership to develop support efforts to market education programs. Identify market niche opportunities and organize efforts to promote programs.

Compensation Range
The base pay scale for this position is $198,500.00 - $268,000.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
