The ideal candidate would have experience with a variety of accounting functions and have specific expertise in revenue accounting. This role requires the candidate to have exceptional technical skills and experience in strategic and analytical thinking, with a firm emphasis on attention to detail. You should also have the ability to communicate your work clearly with various groups and staff/management at all levels.
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly journal entries as assigned
Prepare monthly variance analysis for month-end close meetings, both P&L and balance sheet analysis
Prepare and lead monthly variance analysis for month-end close meetings and leverage AI tools to perform deep-dive P&L and balance sheet trend analysis.
Architect and implement AI-driven efficiencies in monthly journal entry and reconciliation workflows to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy.
Ensure 100% controllership integrity
Ensure finance policies and guidelines are met satisfactorily during review/audit periods
Assist in driving finance/controllership change initiatives through process improvements to gain efficiencies as needed
Support Accounting Leaders with Ad hoc reporting and special projects as required
Utilize AI tools to streamline audit documentation and evidence gathering.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
Highly organized individual who can work independently as well as with cross-functional groups
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills required
Strong verbal and written skills, along with good interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills, primarily Excel, including pivots, vlookups and similar functions
Ability to manage high volumes of transactions in a timely and accurate manner
Public accounting/auditing experience a plus
Experience or strong interest in using AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Copilot) to automate repetitive tasks and enhance financial analysis.
Oracle Financials experience a plus
