Interface with customers and NBO team, gather application requirements.
Translate requirements to product solutions (drive and motor).
Test customer proposed solutions (either on customer replicas or on dyno), make sure our offer can meet the customer requirements.
Use lab tools and measuring equipment to test BLDC motors in applications.
Support customers as they evaluate our products.
Develop application specific test setups and identify features, functions or capabilities, to perform on application.
Work with Product Marketing and R&D group to define and implement new features and test products on real world applications with primary focus on AGV, Robotics, Industrial Automation.
Write application notes, technical documents, test reports etc. as needed
Prepare Applications-Centric Sales Presentation Material
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Travel
Travel, both domestic and international, will be required approximately 10%.

As an Application Engineer at Nidec Automation ULV Drives, you will play a key role in supporting new business opportunities and driving innovation in motion control and robotic systems.
