About this role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented apprentice to join our Biogen Quality Control team in Solothurn. In this role, you will learn to perform analytical tests, support product quality assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards. You'll gain hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, chemical analysis techniques, and data recording while working alongside experienced chemists. What you will do and learn
Sample management: ordering consumables, prepare and handle laboratory samples
Plan, execute and document laboratory experiments
Sampling and testing of raw materials according to GMP specifications
Chemistry: drug product testing with basic chemistry methods and chromatography
Environmental monitoring: Testing samples for total organic content and conductivity
Lab support: preparation/review of chemical products and solutions, lab support, safety
