11+ years of relevant experience at an engineering consulting firm.
Ability to proactively lead technical efforts and project team staff.
Experience as Senior Project Engineer on large scale projects, including landfills, material excavation and dewatering, and coal ash closure
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training certification.

AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Remediation team in the St. Louis, MO office in a remote role. The successful candidate will work with a diverse team of technical leaders across a broad range of practice areas delivering professional consulting services to our key clients.
The successful candidate will provide technical skills leading and supporting Environmental Remediation and Coal Ash closure projects within the department and will develop strong relationships with the team and clients to enable pursuit of new opportunities. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the project team, clients, site personnel and office management, and work both independently and as part of a project team.
The successful candidate will be committed to the team's success and growth; will rigorously apply safety policies and procedures; will manage the technical, cost and schedule elements of project delivery; and will effectively manage the quality of field efforts and project deliverables within the bounds of the AECOM Quality Management System.
The job responsibilities of this position will include but are not limited to:
Serving as a professional engineer for large, complex projects
Understanding of all aspects in CCR (Coal Combustion Residuals)
Provide technical expertise in site-civil engineering
Maintain the ability to interface with the client
Mentoring and developing younger staff members
May serve as technical advisor for team
Provides input on staff's specific area of expertise
Develops cost estimates of technical projects
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS in Civil Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Experience with Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR)
Valid U.S Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review.
