Responsible for daily security operations. Supervises Security Officers, K-9 Handlers, Dispatchers, and Supervisors. Responsible for all staff training. Assumes responsibility for the department in the absence of the Security Manager with the authority to discipline in accordance with established standards. EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required. Related course work in management, security administration or criminal justice. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in hospital or similar facility security and/or dispatch operations required Minimum of one (1) year of experience in supervisor role with staff training and development required. Minimum of five (5) years' experience in security preferred. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Required: Current California (CA) driver's license. Must be insurable under Huntington's liability insurance. Current CA Guard Card issued by the CA Bureau of Security & Investigative Services (BSIS) required Preferred: Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association Current Basic, Advanced, or Supervisor certification issued by International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS)
