Responsibilities
- Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Create and refine our visual design language based on Scout's brand identity.
- Lead visual design work from ideation to mock-ups to implementation.
- Develop designs that express the Scout brand coherently across digital and print mediums.
- Define and evolve the visual tone, color palette, and overall aesthetics - creating documentation of assets/guidelines/templates.
- Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into designs.
- Location & Travel Expectations :
- This role may be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC .
- This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in graphic design or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in graphic or visual design.
- Strong body of work / portfolio that illustrates range of aesthetic range and design sensibilities. (include portfolio link at the top of your resume)
- Ability to create expressive design work with and without the boundaries of a visual identity systems.
- Passion for all things design - Photography, architecture, fashion, typography, color, and composition.
- Proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, some motion/video editing
- Knowledge of user experience using AI.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive with a high degree of autonomy and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment
