POSITION SUMMARY This position provides leadership, supervision and direction to the Crawford Honors College and reports to the Dean of Academic Excellence and Support. This role works collaboratively with faculty, staff, students and external stakeholders and provides operational management for the newly established Crawford Honors College. This position is responsible for the oversight of the high-achieving, high-aspirational, and high-motivational academic environment that fosters excellence in student learning, research, and global engagement. The manager provides visionary leadership and full-cycle support, overseeing student recruitment, admission, advising, retention, program development, and experiential learning initiatives, including but not limited to study abroad and undergraduate research. The position will work independently on projects, effectively manage time, workload, conflict and influence achievement of the Honors College's mission and strategic goals. This position with interface with institutional donors, preparing updates and discussing strategic initiatives. The manager handles confidential matters with discretion in accordance with institutional policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The role demonstrates commitment to continuous quality improvement, providing outstanding service to a variety of stakeholders, and maintaining an overall standard of excellence for the Crawford Honors College. Working closely with honors faculty advisors, the manager will demonstrate a strong commitment to academic excellence, student development, and innovative programmatic leadership. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Provide leadership for the strategic vision of the Crawford Honors College that aligns with the institution's mission and academic priorities. Facilitates short and long-term planning, program development and assessment that supports student success outcomes of Honors students. 2. Lead recruitment, admission, and retention efforts for high-achieving students, ensuring compliance with program eligibility requirements. 3. Develop and oversee onboarding orientation and advising strategies for incoming Honors students, utilizing best practices and institutional data to inform strategies for retention and persistence. 4. Serves as the principal point of contact for high school partners, prospective and current students, regarding programmatic requirements, policies and procedures, deadlines, scheduling, events, etc. 5. Collects, organizes, monitors and reports student success rates for Crawford Honors College students. Analyzes trends, metrics, and data to provide quantitative and qualitative evidence to support recommendations. 6. Serves as Co-Chair of the Honors Faculty Advisory Council (HFAC), leading monthly meetings with Crawford Honors College stakeholders and facilitating ad-hoc meeting opportunities as needed to meet programmatic goals. 7. Oversee curriculum development progress in partnership with faculty, ensuring that honors courses and research opportunities provide rigorous and meaningful learning experiences. 8. Provide supervision of the Administrative Assistant to the Crawford Honors College and oversight of the honors study rooms, classrooms, and collaborative spaces to ensure appropriate use. 9. Develop and maintain partnerships with faculty, community organizations, and other institutions to expand undergraduate research and study abroad opportunities. 10. Manage the operational, budget and personnel functions for the Crawford Honors College; utilizing data in annual reports to develop budget requests that reflect the needs of students. 11. Review and assess enrollment data, student interest and completion patterns in honors courses to understand emerging trends and inform course scheduling decisions. 12. Provide continuous improvement to Crawford Honors College processes, including orientation, induction, honors symposiums, commencement, etc. 13. Lead and organize co-curricular activities, leadership development programs, experiential learning opportunities and service-learning experiences for honors students. 14.
