Responsibilities

  • Your primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Maintain/Implement/support and contribute to development of VIKING's Global Management System (VMS) and ensure compliance with the Standards of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and local requirements in each country as needed.
  • Ensure all QHSE related documents in compliance with company guidelines and local regulations through support and overall guidance.
  • Monitor the entire External Audit Activities and ensure all Non-conformances (NCR/Near miss), observations and opportunities for improvement are handled, completed and closed (from time-to-time attendance required).
  • Perform internal audits across EU Regions in coordination with Global QHSE.
  • Oversee Non-Conformity Reporting, conduct follow up of corrections and/or corrective actions and maintain its records.
  • Support and take ownership of customer audits, support on customer questionnaires and other liaison with customers within QHSE.
  • Train, support and drive SAFETY to maintain safe working environment.
  • Support the implementation / maintenance of VIKING ESG (Environment, Social & Governance).
  • Lead and support on driving sustainability initiatives in accordance with the overarching strategy.
  • Manage (matrix) and partake in further developing the QHSE task owners across the Region forming an integrated structure covering all sites.
  • Support/develop/monitor new VIKING guidelines in the region.
  • Continuous monitoring of external demands (legal, sanctions, trade barriers etc.) and lead implementation across region together with regional / national management.
  • Monitor compliance with VIKING procedures, such as 5S, Safety and Quality procedures.
  • You must expect approximately 50 global travel days yearly.

  • The ideal person has
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience within the QHSE area in demanding and highly regulated industries, and preferably also holds the ISO lead auditor certificate.
  • On a personal level, you are passionate and purposeful. You have a good mood, friendliness and helpfulness towards colleagues make you an attractive business partner taking ownership for driving improvements together with key stakeholders.
  • You communicate effectively, collaborate across different levels of an organization and build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Initiative and independent decision-making are also a natural part of your work style.
  • You are proficient in English on a technical level, both orally and in writing.
