Your Role at Cabot: Cabot Corporation is seeking a North America Logistics Operations Lead to join the Global Logistics & Packaging team at the Alpharetta, GA location. This role provides regional oversight of logistics operations, ensuring performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across transportation activities. The position is not involved in day-to-day operational execution but serves as a senior escalation point, ensuring that issues are resolved effectively and that service providers and internal teams meet defined standards. Strategic sourcing, carrier selection, and contract negotiations are managed by the separate Logistics Procurement function. Day-to-day transportation execution is managed by local/site operations teams or shared service centers. This role is based at the Alpharetta, GA location, but is eligible to participate in the current Hybrid Working Arrangement program (Monday/Friday remote and Tuesday-Thursday in office). How You'll Make an Impact: Provides oversight of regional transportation operations across all modes (sea, rail, road), ensuring alignment with business objectives, service expectations, and compliance standards. Acts as first escalation point for complex or critical logistics issues that cannot be resolved at the operational level, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Executes day‑to‑day logistics activities end‑to‑end with a hands‑on approach, while maintaining a continuous‑improvement mindset. Provides guidance and resolution to service problems identified through monitoring of daily shipment execution status or escalated by Delivery Centers, Export shipping sites of the region, Sales, or Business Leaders. Supervises, specifically for the import/export activities, the tasks executed by the Freight forwarder, within a model where customer orders are entered into and managed by the importing regions (customer region). Oversee the status of the executions and define prioritizations with the freight forwarder and steam ship lines. This role also includes coordinating with the exporting/importing Cabot sites within the region and ensures Cabot the proper execution of the shipments by the freight forwarders, the drayage companies and the steam ship lines Supports Root Cause Analysis and drives actively corrective actions with Suppliers within the Complaint Management Process Monitors and reviews logistics performance (KPIs, SLAs) across carriers, forwarders, and brokers, ensuring targets are met or exceeded. Drives continuous improvement initiatives by identifying systemic issues and recommending enhancements to processes, service models, and performance management approaches. Ensures effective implementation and adherence to regional logistics service plans, in collaboration with internal stakeholders (IT, SSC, Business/Sales) and external providers. Provides input into budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning based on performance trends and regional requirements Supports governance of third-party service providers, ensuring compliance with agreed contracts and service expectations (contracts and commercial terms owned by Logistics Procurement). Collaborates closely with the Logistics Procurement function, which is responsible for sourcing strategy, carrier selection, and contract negotiations. Provides guidance to regional logistics teams and operational staff (without direct involvement in daily execution). Maintains effective stakeholder relationships with internal functions and external partners at a strategic and performance management level. Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, safety standards, and internal controls Coupa PO Creation, Invoice Review, cost control What You'll Bring to Cabot: Bachelor's/University degree in Business, Logistics or Transportation related discipline. 5+ years of experience in logistics Direct experience in either domestic (Truck, Rail, Warehousing) or International (Ocean, Air, Customs) is a plus Chemical and logistic industry experience is a plus Prior management experience Strong knowledge of logistics operations both domestic and international; transportation, import/export, customs (duty/
