Meranti Power Pte Ltd (MP), a fully owned subsidiary of the Energy Market Authority, manages and operates a new power generation station in Jurong Island. We are seeking committed individuals for the position of Supply Chain Procurement Manager. The scope and requirements for this position are as follows: Reporting To: Head, Supply Chain General Overview: This role is part of the Supply Chain Department that is responsible for procurement and warehouse services across Meranti Power's operational domains. He/she will support the Head of Supply Chain in in ensuring that procurement activities are cost-effective, efficient, and compliant with the procurement policy, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Key areas of focus include: Policy Compliance Procurement Process Efficiency Procurement Operations Stakeholder and Supplier Engagement Process Improvement and Digitalisation Roles and Responsibilities: This role will undertake the following activities: Support procurement of Indirect Goods & Services. Participate in procurement tender work, ensuring that all procurement obligations are fulfilled. Sourceand obtain quotations, handle tender, and ensure tender submissions are complete and compliant through open ITT and ITQ. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and evaluate supplier proposals. Consolidate and establish bidders list. Prepare quotation comparison summaries and support the evaluation process. Negotiate contract terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure favourable pricing and quality standards. Evaluate supplier performance, monitor adherence to contractual obligations, and address any issues or concerns. Assist in issuing Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure proper documentation is maintained. Support vendor onboarding and update vendor information such as vendor contact databases in system. Establish documentation and templates for procurement activities. Ensure all procurement documentation is complying to the policies and procedures. Perform any other procurement-related tasks duties as assigned.
