We are looking for an experienced Linux C++ Software Engineer with a strong interest in security to join our agile team. The team develops ESET applications that protect Linux systems, targeted to a wide range of customers - from small businesses to large enterprises.
Job description
This role is ideal for a developer w h o wants to grow towards Security Engineering while staying hands-on with C++ development. You will collaborate closely with internal security teams and help ensure that security is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Contribute to application code bases written in C++
Contribute to security-focused architecture discussions and documentation
Participate in code reviews as a member of an agile team
Collaborate closely with internal security teams and other R&D teams
Requirements
Master's degree in Computer Science , Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of experience in software development using C++
High proficiency in Lin ux operating systems
Experience in object-oriented design and programming
Hands-on experience with security concepts ( e.g. threat modeling, secure design, risk analysis)
Security-oriented mindset with focus on identifying potential vulnerabilities early in development
Strong communication and collaboration skills
English language (intermediate)
Basic wage component (brutto): from 2700 EUR/m. (brutto)
The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
Performance bonus 2 times per year up to 10% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period(usually 6 months).
