General Manager, Greater China Region Job Description The Regional Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving and overachieving sales targets across all routes to market within the region. Leading a cross functional regional sales team, both direct and dotted line, you will own your own profit and loss (P&L) and sales key performance indicators (KPIs) for the region. By strategically approaching various industries, you will drive profitable and sustainable growth for SUSE in your designated region, expanding our customer base while nurturing relationships with existing (renew, cross sell, upsell) and potential clients. SUSE works closely together with partners in the diverse Routes to market to deliver customer solutions, the country manager will lead his team to build and grow the partner Ecosystem. Your focus will be People, Process, Pipeline. Your primary responsibilities include coaching and guiding Account Executives and your extended cross-functional sales team to ensure exceptional sales execution (forecast and pipeline health), professionalism, and customer value across SUSE's entire portfolio. You will also oversee the management and development of the team, fostering their performance and growth. This position reports to the GM of APAC, and your collaborative leadership will be instrumental in supporting and enhancing the overall sales processes. Focus areas Meet and exceed budget targets through revenue growth and bookings Create a high performing, highly engaged diverse team, customer focused and success driven Drive adoption of new sales motions and focus on Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) Collaborate with the entire SUSE internal infrastructure for predictable and scalable business Qualify and forecast accurately using MEDDICC and sales stages Drive usage of all sales tools & processes optimally (SFDC, LDR, Compliance etc.) to maximize deal value & customer satisfaction. Maintain Salesforce hygiene and optimize sales tools and processes Drive a culture within the global sales team, where our leadership teams have coaching, supporting and mentoring at the centre of their leadership Invest in personal development and share learnings with the team Act with agility and challenge internal processes for optimal business performance Play an active role in SUSE's transformation journey Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the region Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships in major enterprise accounts and partners Understand competitors and leverage strengths and weaknesses to deliver value to customers Preferred Experience & Skills Extensive successful experience leading a successful sales team selling Enterprise Software (Open source SW/SaaS/Cloud etc) Strong sales leadership experience both working in direct sales and indirect (partner) structures Proven ability to understand and drive sales process from plan to close, able to add value and "make" deals Ability to manage and work with teams in different countries Experience in all routes to market & Open Source is a pre.
