Materials Planner

About the role

The Materials Planner plays a pivotal role in managing and optimising the supply of raw materials, raw materials components and bulk liquids across global and local internal distillery sites and third-party operators. This position extends beyond traditional materials planning, stretching you with a strong emphasis on improving decisions through stronger data analysis, demand and stock forecasting, inventory optimisation, and continuous process improvement. Operating in a dynamic and fast-evolving environment, the role works in close partnership with broader Demand & Supply Planning, local Manufacturing, Procurement, and external suppliers to ensure timely replenishment, accurate Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and ensuring the broader organisation is informed across supply continuity so risk can be minimised across the supply chain.
