You are responsible for developing automated tests (UI - Playwright, API- Rest Assured)
You analyze the test results and configure automated tests to execute reliably and efficiently in CI/CD environments.
You work closely together with the product owner and the developers for the bug reporting and bug analysis.
You bring in your own ideas and contribute to the framework, you design the test strategy and you develop and maintain the testing tools.
Define and enforce testing standards, conventions, and architectural guidelines across the team.
Apply risk-based testing approaches to prioritize coverage and communicate trade-offs effectively.
Investigate and resolve test instability, including issues related to timing, environment differences, and asynchronous behavior
Requirements
You have hands on experience in testing frameworks and coding languages (We are using Playwright with JAVA but similar frameworks/coding language are ok also) .
You are familiar with CI environments such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
Experience balancing UI and API testing in line with modern testing strategies
Good understanding of test automation architecture and maintainable framework design
Awareness of AI-assisted development/testing tools and their trade-offs (not required but is a plus)
You are a true team player, have strong communication skills and appreciate an agile, interdisciplinary team.
You take ownership and work independently
Great communication skills in English (German language knowledge is a plus)
