Have a general understanding of rack numbering systems, tags, raw materials, and WIP
Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials
Operate stretch wrap machine and banding equipment
Perform routine safety inspections of lift equipment
Supply department with materials in a timely fashion such that machine downtime is avoided
Perform daily housekeeping chores such as sweeping and 5S activities as time permits
Document inventory locations using handheld electronic devices
Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older
Stable work history
K nowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong time management skills and ability to follow instructions
1-3 years experience of material handling and use of forklifts (stand-up & sit-down), pallet jacks, powered pallet jacks, or related equipment is preferred
Physical Demands:
Lifting up to 50 pounds
Must be able to climb, kneel, bend, squat
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to wear PPE including but not limited to hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, safety glasses
Internal Requirements:
Must demonstrate Core Values
Must be in good standing with no disciplinary action or attendance issues
Performer or higher on last performance review

The Material Handler ensures the safe, efficient, timely, and accurate movement of materials and product throughout the plant to support production and plant operations.
This position will work a night shift (7AM-7PM Mon-Thur) for a total of 48 hours per week.
