Job Description The Huntington Store E-Commerce Warehouse Associate is an essential logistics team member who is at the heart of our customer experience - ensuring that every online order is picked accurately, packed with care, and shipped on time. They will also play a key role in keeping our inventory organized by receiving and processing new stock as it arrives. The role requires a blend of physical stamina, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and politely both verbally and in writing. This person will be a flexible collaborator who contributes to a harmonious team environment and to The Huntington Store's revenue and growth. S/he/they will demonstrate a background of working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, geographic and socioeconomic backgrounds, using a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible approach. Essential Duties Order Fulfillment: Picks products for orders from warehouse or store based on digital or printed pick lists and packs them securely for shipment. Shipping and Labeling: Weighs and labels orders using our shipping software to generate carrier labels and transports packages to the mailroom for timely shipping within 24-48 hours. Customer Service: Provides excellent customer service. Promptly responds to all inquiries regarding the webstore and in-store pick-up orders via e-mail and/or telephone. Inventory Receiving: Unload incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and report any discrepancies or damages. Apply price/barcode labels to received merchandise as needed. Stock management: Organize and "slot" new inventory into designated locations to ensure a smooth picking process. Quality Control: Conduct brief inspections of items during the picking process to ensure customers receive only high-quality products. Organization: Maintains shipping supplies inventory and initiates supply requests in a timely fashion, anticipating periods of elevated sales orders. Record Keeping: Keeps accurate and up-to-date files on customer sales. Works with Retail Business Development Manager to keep e-commerce information accurate to guarantee customer satisfaction upon delivery. Inventory Management: Notifies Retail Operations Manager when inventory counts are found to be incorrect. Communication: Notifies management when assistance is needed during periods of increased order volume. On occasion, this role helps with moving products from one location to another for special merchandising displays including store-related events.
