Job Qualifications
Education - Required
Bachelor's degree
Master's degree Physician Assistant Studies
Graduate of CAAHEP accredited Physician Assistant Training Program
Certifications/Licensure - Required
Active license in New York/New Jersey/Connecticut (Based on Position's Location/Physician's sessional time)
Current NCCPA certification, including 100 hours of continuing medical education logged every 2 years and recertification taken and successfully passed every 6-10 years
Current Infection Control Certificate
Completion of child abuse recognition course
ACLS and BLS certification from the American Heart Association
DEA license
Experience - Required
1-2 years relevant experience in outpatient or ambulatory setting
Experience - Preferred
Experience in musculoskeletal/orthopedic practice preferred.
Skills - Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service orientation
Critical thinking, in-depth experience, professional knowledge in area of specialty; updated on the latest new, trends, and treatments.
Time management/organization: handles and effectively manages a daily caseload; experience with varied work schedule (flexibility); adaptable

Compensation Range
The base pay scale for this position is $187,898.88 - $204,886.38. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
