  • Previous inpatient, acute care, & critical care PA, NP, or RN experience strongly preferred
  • Minimum Education:

Position Summary: The Medical College of Wisconsin's Division of Geriatric & Palliative Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialty medical care within the In patient setting . This position is located at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital and Froedtert West Bend Hospital . The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching. Position Highlights: Thriving & growing program Provide exceptional, compassionate, & collaborative care of palliative care inpatients Engage & comfort patients & families Will assist in the coordination of care for patients seen by the Community Health Division Palliative Care Consultation Service in the Inpatient setting Schedule: Part-time, .5 fte One week on, One week off. M-F, 8 am - 4:30 pm No weekends or on-call required Department/Division Highlights: D edicated to improving care for our patients & their caregivers, and creating robust educational opportunities for students, residents, & fellows Academic patient care Team-Based Medicine approach in our clinics, consult services, & community care.
