Perform monthly account reconciliations timely and accurately. Investigate and resolve reconciling items timely to ensure accuracy of accounting data.
Prepare and understand recurring and non-recurring journal entries. Research and resolve reporting errors or discrepancies timely.
Perform other month end duties and assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, and other data required on a timely basis.
Perform monthly analysis of expense and revenue variances to budget. Work cross-functionally with other employees to gain understanding of business and data requirements to ensure general ledger balances are correct, transactions are classified properly and reported accurately.
Identify and document processes and procedures and implement processes that create efficiencies and improve accuracy.
Provide support and guidance to General Accountants on the team. Provide accounting guidance to other departments relating to the execution of company business. Research and reconcile accounting issues for management and other departments. Create ad hoc reports as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field required.
3+ years Financial accounting Preferred.
Professional communication skills required, both written and oral.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software required, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access. Must be highly proficient in using Excel.
Prior knowledge and experience with ERP systems.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$35.94 - $47.87 Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.

This position is responsible for preparing financial statements for the various entities of the organization and for ensuring that the amounts and disclosures provided in the statements are accurate and can be supported.
