About the role

Product Manager (Robotics & Embodied AI) Position Overview: Autolife Robotics is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to drive the development and commercialization of next-generation embodied AI and humanoid robotics solutions. This role requires a strong blend of customer insight, technical understanding, and product ownership. You will work closely with customers, engineering teams, and management to transform real-world operational challenges into scalable robotic products that deliver measurable business value. Key Responsibilities: 1. Customer Discovery & Requirement Analysis Engage with customers across various industries such as hospitality, retail, logistics, education, property management, and manufacturing. Identify operational pain points and translate ambiguous business needs into clear and actionable product requirements. Discover both explicit and latent customer needs through site visits, interviews, and workflow analysis. Evaluate requirements from technical, commercial, and operational perspectives to determine feasibility and business impact. 2. Product Definition & Roadmap Planning Serve as Product Owner for assigned product lines and features. Define product vision, feature scope, and prioritization based on business objectives and customer value. Collaborate closely with hardware, software, AI, and mechanical engineering teams to establish product specifications. Produce structured Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), wireframes, prototypes, and product roadmaps. Drive alignment across departments to ensure successful delivery of product objectives. 3. Product Lifecycle Management Establish mechanisms for collecting customer feedback and operational data. Monitor product performance and user adoption metrics. Work with engineering teams to continuously improve product functionality, reliability, and user experience. 4. Market Research & Strategic Planning Monitor developments in robotics, embodied AI, automation, and intelligent hardware industries. Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and user research. Identify emerging opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to management. Requirements: Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree or above in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines. Minimum 3 years of Product Management experience. Experience in robotics, AI products, intelligent hardware, automation systems, or related industries is highly preferred. Technical Understanding -Familiarity with robotics technology stacks, including: Perception & Sensor Systems Navigation & SLAM Motion Control AI & Human-Robot Interaction Understanding of technical constraints and practical deployment challenges of robotic systems. Analytical & Communication Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. Ability to translate complex customer requirements into executable product specifications. Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills. Working Style Willingness to conduct field research and engage directly with customers. Results-oriented mindset with focus on business outcomes rather than documentation alone. Comfortable challenging assumptions and refining product direction based on evidence. Tools Proficiency in Figma, Axure, Miro, or similar prototyping tools.
