Basic Requirements: All applicants must meet the following basic requirements: (Must be supported in Transcripts from an accredited institution, Resume and/or Applicable Certificate) Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- education or a subject area related to the position to be filled. OR Specialized Experience: Experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: Teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s). Supervising or administering a training program. Development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results. Work in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis. GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the MAJORITY of the following duties: Supervising a team responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs Manage and coordinate budget and acquisition planning processes in support of initiatives and project plans developed subordinates. Designing, developing and delivering training programs. workshops and seminars Providing guidance and assistance to personnel on a variety of educational, training and instructional issues and activities Identifiying developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for needed development and training.
