Grade Level (for internal use): 09 About the Role: S&P Global Platts is looking for an Associate Price Reporter, Nonferrous Metals to cover nonferrous metals pricing in the Americas. Based in Houston , the primary responsibilities of this position include assessing US nonferrous metals markets, including aluminum, engaging with market participants who trade, consume, sell or are otherwise impacted by nonferrous metals markets and producing pricing content and analysis. The Team: The successful candidate will be part of a global team, based in S&P Global's Houston office. Responsibilities and Impact: The successful candidate will be part of a global team and possess knowledge of market intelligence-gathering and assessing commodities prices. This individual must be comfortable writing about pricing information and interpreting data. The finalist will be considered a subject matter expert in the industry; be able to master the challenges of covering metals markets on a frequent basis and be a team player. Furthermore, the successful candidate will understand the relationship between the physical and derivatives markets for metals.
