Our specialized care teams provide personalized, compassionate, expert care to patients of all ages. Informed by basic research done at our Sloan Kettering Institute, scientists across MSK collaborate to conduct innovative translational and clinical research that is driving a revolution in our understanding of cancer as a disease and improving the ability to prevent, diagnose, and treat it. MSK is dedicated to training the next generation of scientists and clinicians, who go on to pursue our mission at MSK and around the globe. Exciting Opportunity at MSK: MSK's Development Operations team is seeking a strategic and highly skilled Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that strengthen the systems, processes, and technology that support MSK's fundraising. In this role, you will help shape operational strategy, guide multi-workstream projects from concept through completion, and partner closely with stakeholders and senior leaders to advance MSK's mission through improved infrastructure and organizational effectiveness. The Office of Development fuels MSK's groundbreaking research, patient care, and education through philanthropic support. Development Operations serves as the technical and operational backbone of this work - managing enterprise CRM systems, data governance, project management frameworks, and learning programs. As a key member of the Project Management Office (PMO), you will drive organizational change and operational efficiency, ensure project alignment with departmental priorities, and help create scalable solutions that enhance MSK's fundraising capabilities. Role Overview Lead end-to-end planning and execution of complex, multi-phase projects that support fundraising, technology, and operational objectives. Develop and implement project methodologies, governance structures, and documentation standards. Build and maintain comprehensive reports to track milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation. Partner with leaders, technical teams, and departmental stakeholders to deliver system enhancements, software development initiatives, and process improvements. Anticipate and mitigate risks; recommend data-driven course corrections to ensure project success. Serve as a primary liaison across cross-functional teams and vendor partners, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely communication. Interpret external regulations and MSK policies to ensure compliance and inform decision-making. Support change management, adoption planning, training, and communication efforts associated with new tools and workflows.
