Administrative/Technical Specialist

About the role

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12; the NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. You will serve as a Financial Analyst within a Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport Business Operations Office (Codes 1501, 2501, 3401, 4501, 7501, or 8501). TO QUALIFY FOR NT-5: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 pay band (GS-11 and GS-12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrating knowledge and experience working with the Navy Working Capital Fund business model; performing comprehensive budget analyses, expenditure tracking, and financial data compilation and data analyses on large, complex projects/portfolio of projects, delivering accurate financial reporting and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies while utilizing Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). TO QUALIFY FOR NT-4: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-3 pay band (GS-9 and GS-10 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrating knowledge and experience working with the Navy Working Capital Fund business model, analyzing and evaluating financial data for budget forecasting, planning and execution tracking of funding expenditures in accordance with financial regulations and policies while utilizing Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
