Define and communicate the architecture vision and strategy for the Operations and Finance data domain.
Develop and maintain multi-year roadmaps aligned to business strategy, transformation priorities, and enterprise capabilities.
Establish target-state architecture, architecture principles, and reusable patterns for data, analytics, and AI solutions.
Lead evaluation and selection of technologies and platforms, including AWS, SAP BDC, Dataiku, SageMaker Studio, and Agentic AI capabilities.
Partner with senior business and technology leaders to identify opportunities, assess business needs, and shape scalable solutions.
Serve as an advisor to senior leadership on data, AI, and technology investments that drive business value.
Incorporate external innovation and emerging technologies into the domain strategy where relevant.
Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, security, governance, compliance, and architectural guardrails.
Direct and guide data and AI engineers on the vision, roadmap, standards, and architectural principles needed to execute effectively.
Own the reusable Data Product and AI Product Factory and enable the creation of AI-ready data products that can be scaled across the enterprise.
Required:
Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience; Master's degree with 9 years of experience; or PhD with 5 years of experience.
Strong experience in complex enterprise environments, preferably in pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, finance, or operations.
Proven experience with AWS-based data architectures and modern cloud data platform patterns.
Experience with SAP BDC or related SAP data and integration technologies.
Experience with AI/ML platforms such as Amazon SageMaker Studio, Dataiku, and Agentic AI solutions.
Demonstrated ability to define roadmaps, influence strategy, and lead architecture governance.
Strong business acumen, including understanding of operational and financial processes.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior and executive leadership.
Ability to collaborate across business, technology, and external innovation partners.
Preferred:
10 years of experience in data architecture, enterprise architecture, analytics, or related technology leadership roles.
Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives across Operations and Finance.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and their application in future-state design.
Experience building reusable data products, AI products, and product factory operating models.
Experience in regulated industries with strong awareness of security, compliance, and quality requirements.
Ability to work in matrixed organizations and influence without direct authority.
