Manager of Warehouse Systems & Operations (Warehouse Excellence)
The Manager of Warehouse Systems & Operations (Warehouse Excellence) provides regional leadership and strategic direction for warehouse execution, leadership capability, and performance improvement across the manufacturing network. This role leads and develops a team of Warehouse managers, ensures alignment between plant leadership and corporate partners, and drives sustained results across safety, quality, service, cost, inventory, asset management, and space utilization. The Manager operates through influence, governance, and structured prioritization to scale best practices, reinforce accountability, and build long-term leadership capability.
Essential Functions
Develop Warehouse managers to ensure consistent execution and leadership capability across regions.
Set strategic direction and priorities for Warehouse Excellence initiatives aligned to business objectives.
Ensure warehouse leadership training, assessments, and onboarding programs are effective, standardized, and sustained.
Manager accountability for performance outcomes across safety, quality, process time, inventory accuracy, financial performance, asset management, and space utilization.
Oversee multi-site productivity, cost-saving, and operational excellence initiatives across the network.
Partners with Plant Directors, Warehouse Managers, and corporate stakeholders to align priorities, expectations, and execution plans.
Provide escalation support and decision-making guidance for complex operational, leadership, or system challenges.
Guide change management efforts to standardize best practices and reinforce consistent execution.
Maintain executive-level understanding of warehouse systems and automation to inform strategy and governance decisions.
Ensure risks related to operations, leadership, or compliance are identified and addressed with sustainable countermeasures.
Partners to ensure engineering partnership and technical documentation governance, ensuring warehouse system requirements, SOPs, configuration standards, and change controls are created, maintained, and audit-ready.
Partners in regional Warehouse Excellence strategy and performance outcomes, while participating in cross‑regional leadership and support as business priorities, network initiatives, or enterprise needs require.
