About the role

Cyber Threat Monitoring Lead (Attractive Bonus/ Central/ Permanent Role) Responsibility: Lead and manage SOC operations to ensure effective 24x7 security monitoring, incident response, and escalation. Oversee the use of SIEM/SOAR and cybersecurity monitoring tools to detect and respond to threats and vulnerabilities. Maintain and enhance SOC processes, detection rules, and automation capabilities. Manage SIEM improvements including log ingestion, system availability, and disaster recovery. Lead incident investigations, forensic analysis, threat hunting, and remediation activities. Drive SOC enhancement projects to improve operational efficiency and security maturity. Prepare and present incident reports, root cause analysis, and recommendations to management. Requirement: Bachelor's Degree Computer science/ Computer Engineering/ Information Security or related certifications. Minimum 7 years of experience in SOC/CERT/CIRT environments, with at least 4 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of SIEM/SOAR operations, incident response, threat hunting, and security monitoring. Familiar with Cyber Security Act 2018, CCoP, MAS Cyber Hygiene Notice, and TRMG. Good understanding of AWS, Microsoft, UNIX/Linux environments, networking concepts, and security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and OWASP Top 10. Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell is an advantage. Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
