As a Specialist, Logistics at RXO, you will be responsible for providing logistics support, including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination. What your day-to-day will look like: Coordinate with railroads and carriers partners to plan, schedule, and track freight movements across the network Communicate with railroads and carrier dispatch teams to ensure efficient and on-time movement of loads Monitor daily pick-ups, interchanges, and deliveries; verify that shipments are progressing according to schedule and resolve delays as needed Take check calls from drivers, ensuring loads remain on schedule Validate load data prior to marking shipments as delivered for accounting purposes Investigate product overages, shortages, and damages, completing appropriate documentation and coordinating resolutions with carriers Request appointments and reschedules for carrier appointments, manage equipment availability and transit timelines Provide detailed routing instructions to drivers and coordinate with rail partners for proper handling, interchanges, and transfer points Track shipment status and proactively address service disruptions by working directly with railroads and carriers At a minimum, you'll need: 1 year of logistics experience It'd be great if you also have: High school diploma or equivalent General knowledge of the transportation industry Experience writing routine reports and correspondence The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form Does this sound like you?
