Manufacturing is at the heart of our operation, it's where we fulfil the customer promise and produce our high-quality Engineering-grade bricks! It's within our Manufacturing team at Blencowe that we're recruiting for a Operations Team Member. So, what's the mission? We're looking for a hands-on Production Operative to join our small, close-knit manufacturing team producing high-quality products for our Bricks and Masonry business unit. This is a days-only role with no night shifts, offering the potential opportunity to develop your skills and build a long-term career within a growing business. Working as part of a team of five, you'll play an important role in ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. We're looking for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in a job well done, and is willing to get stuck in wherever needed. This is a hands on role where you'll be involved in all aspects of the production process. You'll operate machinery and equipment, carry out manual handling tasks, complete quality checks, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment. As part of a small team, reliability, teamwork, and a proactive attitude are essential, with opportunities to learn new skills and develop. What Are the Mission-Critical Skills? Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, construction, or similar hands-on environment Comfortable carrying out physical and labour-intensive work Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards Ability to work effectively as part of a small team Reliable, dependable, and willing to take ownership of tasks Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately Practical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach Good communication and organisational skills Basic numeracy and literacy skills FLT licence, machinery operation experience, or Lean Manufacturing knowledge (desirable) What's In It For You?
