Position Summary
Reports to Director of Special Events for Schools and Programs. The role of the coordinator is to assist with staffing, planning and implementing special events and ceremonies designed to cultivate, maintain and strengthen student, alumni, parent and friend ties to the University.
When assigned, support for on-site presence during evening events and weekend programming will be required.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Support University Advancement special events including but not limited to staffing events, onsite logistics, overseeing data for invitation lists, coordinating and supervising mail house projects, creating timelines, establishing logistical plans, assistance with securing speakers, working with vendors, creating seating plans, assisting with talking points, and briefing materials. This position will frequently interact with high-level university leadership, donors, and alumni.
Work with Coordinator of Communications to create and manage event templates for use across department using in-house and external resources. Act as resource for creation and distribution of broadcast emails. Assist with managing and distributing invitation lists including unsubscribe notifications, and ARCH updates.
Perform other duties as assigned.
